In 2020 we were asked if we want to support the development and launch of a new mobile plan; strategically positioned in the discount segment. Four months later frænk was launched.
A straight forward offer – unseen in the german market: one price and one plan, 100% controlled via an app and with the option to cancel your subscription at any time you want. A little bit like netflix, just for your smartphone. 
As lead agency we were responsible for brand positioning and strategy, the product's name (frænk), the brand design, app design, the product offer itself, communication strategy and development of all creative assets from commercials and Out of Home to performance advertising.
Implementing "frænk for friends" a recommendation tool that allows you to jazz up your contract bit by bit with every friend you get to subscribe, turned out to be a smart move. Nowadays this mechanic is frænk's strongest growth lever.

The first big campaign for the "frænk for friends" feature.
The promise: activate frænk with the code BAEM and get an additional Gigabyte for free. Forever.
Once you're a customer you get your very own personal code that you can pass on to friends. Anytime your code is being used you get another additional Gigabyte for free. Forever. 
The campaign showcased multiple ways to stage the Code BAEM – all targeted to audiences with different interests.
